Sunday 30th August 2026 | 11:00am – 4:00pm
We’re delighted to be returning to Scalby Manor this August Bank Holiday for another day of fundraising in support of the dogs at Cliff Top Kennels Re-homing Centre.
Each year we are incredibly grateful to the management and staff at Scalby Manor for welcoming us to their venue and allowing us to set up our fundraising stall near the main entrance. Their continued support helps us raise both valuable funds and awareness for the work of our charity, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic day.
If you’re planning to visit Scalby Manor over the Bank Holiday weekend, we’d love for you to come along and say hello. Whether you’re already a supporter of the charity or you’re discovering us for the first time, our volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to chat about the work we do, answer questions and tell you more about the dogs currently in our care.
This year’s stall will feature a variety of fun activities and fundraising opportunities for visitors of all ages. We’ll have our popular children’s Lucky Dip, a selection of costume jewellery, and our ever-popular dog treat cones, which are always a big hit with four-legged visitors. Every purchase helps us continue caring for dogs while they wait for their forever homes.
As always, every pound raised goes directly towards supporting the charity. The money helps provide food, comfortable accommodation, veterinary care, enrichment, and all the day-to-day essentials that allow us to give every dog the love, attention and care they deserve while waiting for the right family to come along.
We’re also bringing back one of last year’s favourite fundraising activities, “Guess the Puppy Name.” It proved to be a great success and was enjoyed by visitors of all ages, so we’re looking forward to seeing plenty of entries once again. Keep an eye on our stall for all the details when you visit.
Fundraising events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of local businesses and community partners. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Katie, Tom and the entire team at Scalby Manor for once again supporting the charity and helping us continue our work.
Our volunteers are already busy preparing for the day, organising prizes, putting together Lucky Dip bags and making sure everything is ready to welcome visitors. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the local community, catch up with familiar faces and introduce new people to the work of Cliff Top Kennels Re-homing Centre.
Whether you stop by to make a donation, try your luck at one of our fundraising games, pick up a treat for your dog or simply come over for a chat, your support is greatly appreciated. Every conversation, every purchase and every donation helps us continue giving dogs in need the opportunity to find the safe, loving homes they deserve.
We hope to see you at Scalby Manor on Sunday 30th August between 11:00am and 4:00pm. Please come along, say hello, and help us make this another successful fundraising day for the dogs.
