About Cliff Top Kennels Rehoming Centre

In 2005 we were granted official charity status, allowing us to continue our vital work supporting dogs in need across Scarborough and the surrounding areas. We are run by a small, dedicated committee of caring people who are passionate about giving every dog the chance of a better life.

Our Mission

Our core aim is simple: to look after dogs for as long as it takes to find them a loving forever home. We never put healthy dogs to sleep. Every dog in our care receives food, veterinary treatment, love and attention until they are ready to be rehomed.

This work is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Food, vet bills, kennelling and daily care all add up. Your donations, fundraising, and support help us keep our doors open and continue saving lives.

Where Our Dogs Come From

Most of the dogs we help come to us as unclaimed strays. We also take in dogs from owners who, through no fault of their own, are no longer able to care for them.

If you need to rehome your dog, please call us on 01723 870456. We will discuss your situation and, if we have space and feel we can help, arrange an assessment so we can find the best possible new home for your dog.

Our Promise

We believe every dog deserves a second chance at happiness. We are committed to responsible, thoughtful rehoming — matching each dog with a home where they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their life.
